Writing format for paper

I am taking an Independent study class at the grad level. I am the only person in this class so the instructor tailored the activities to my specific needs. The first requirement, for 25% of my grade, is to: Review bulletin 1508 and compare and contrast the eligibility requirements for students with possible cognitive disabilities, emotional disturbance, learning disabilities and developmental delays. Write a summary and reflect on the similarities and differences.

What style should I write this in? It's not a research paper so I think APA is out. I would ask the instructor but she only responds on Mondays and I was hoping to finish today or tomorrow.

There's MLA, APA, and a third one, right? Whatever the third one is, I've never used it, and I've only used APA once. I'd suggest MLA.

It sounds like it is just a review, is that right? Just write it then, you won't need to worry about format. Plus, from experience, independent study classes for grad school are NICE! Trust me, you are getting an A.

Long hand. She's only available one day a week? What are you paying for this class? Demand that you get your moneys worth. Without you she has no job.

Well- no. She is doing me a favor. This class is only offered every couple of years and I need it immediately to get another position that is likely to open at the end of semester. I really, really want that position but I cannot have it unless I get an additional area of certification. She made it pretty clear that she wasn't going to have alot of time this semester because of staff reductions, so I try to not really be seen and not really be heard. She also is pretty close to the person that I hope hires me so I would like to appear that I know what I'm doing.

I had completely forgot about m.l.a. Everything I've done in the last five years was A.P.A

Maybe you should ask her what format she prefers. If that is not an option. Then go with MLA. :thumbs

You will never be in the wrong using APA for a psychology paper, even if it's mostly opinions with a few random citations for good measure.
