request for the caption contest.

I looked for about an hour one night for a good pic but didnt find squat. I also pmd Joe to find out where he got his and havent received a response. Heck Im not positive but I think I emailed him too.

Im willing, just need some help. :)

I have no idea where he got them. I sent him one or two that he used, but beyond that...

One thing you might try is asking members to send you pics. Guys like Drowning and a few others always seem to come up with some odd-ball stuff. You'd want to set a few paramaters - no nudity, racist, or profane (well, really profane) material, etc.

Edit: - One other rule I'd go for if you use member-submitted pics is that the member submitting them is ineligible for that contest. If not, you'd get people bitching that so-and-so had all the time in the world to think up a caption, or that they had some other unfair advantage.

Also, if you want to actually award a prize, you need to check with ETR and see if HuskerNation.com would provide some modest gift certificates - and then do the contests every month or every three months. Or, alternatively, just let the winner bask in the glory of being "The Guy".
