Before the season started, all everybody was saying that in order to consider this season successful, that we need to win the Big 12 North.

We did that!

Is this season a success?

I say yes...but that doesn't mean that we don't want more. Beat CU, Win Big 12, Win BCS Bowl game. Then season is outstanding!

This season is the first step to accomplishing our overall goal of a NC. It starts with locking up our own division.

Winning the north was the most critical stepping stone that we had to climb. By winning the north it allows us to focus on our other team goals such as winning the conference, playing in a BCS bowl, and winning a BCS bowl. All of these other goals would not be possible without first winning the north.

So far the season has been good...but if we lose to a team whose best player is a KICKER there will be some extremly upset Husker fans

I think the season is a success so far and the best way to end it is by not just beating sCUm, but humiliating them then winning the Big XII and winning our bowl game...........that would be outstanding!!!!

I think it is successful. We've won 8 hopefully 9 games. In the games we lost we were competitive (or were at least not embarassed as in past few years). As I said on another post...one of our greatest streaks recognized nationally was 9-win seasons. Not 8, 10 or 11. We should at least get that accomplished with 3 games remaining.
