He could have still made the same amount of money this year and not having to coach at all. It shows character to stick it out when you have been dealt a blow and figure out how to make it work right now despite the adversity and get better for next time.

Doesn't matter, tradition is dead anyways, but college football is meant for Saturdays. Same reason the CFP championship on a Monday is idiotic. People have to get up and go to work the next day, and when you live in the eastern time zone it's even worse.

Eh. Nobody in the eastern time zone likes it, and we're not talking about pro football. It's still supposed to be student athletes. But like I said tradition is dead.

I don't think I've watched a CFP championship game yet, I can't remember the last Superbowl I actually stayed up to watch until the end, and I can't even get past halftime of Sunday night even with "my" team playing in it.  Not all of us make it work...

Same. Haven't watch CFP or SB/playoffs in years.

 
I believe Adam Carriker posted that Jacory Barney posted on his Instagram page rocking a single digit #2 jersey which means he is going to be one of the captains for the upcoming season.  I'm glad he is here and fully buying into the team concept of what Matt Rhule and the coaches want from the players.  Great job by him!!!

Doesn’t mean he’s a captain per se. Does it? But it does mean he’s doing something right and one of the 10 chosen single digit earners. Feels a little early. Didn’t think they did the single digits until much later. But I dig it with him at number ✌️

I thought if you get a single digit that meant you were a captain but I definitely could be wrong as well.  Also I thought so too on it being really early for players already having single digit numbers but he must have earned the respect of the coaches
