Let's say that the staff (Corey Raymond) was in contact with him. FACT. Let's also say that he was instructed to call Coach Pelini. FACT. Let's also note that Raymond dropped the ball and didn't tell Bo when he was calling. FACT. Let's also say that he called for an inconvenient time for Bo. FACT. Bo told him to call back and Leon and his father took acception to that and his father decided to talk trash on Bo and promote his son all over a Husker message board. FACT.

I'm sick of this "vacation" theory that so many have. The staff busted their asses last winter on the recruiting trail. We won some and we lost some. Leon and his father were people we chose not to invite to be a part of our program. They fit in with people that will suck both of their asses like Kiffin.

Do you know what was discussed etc between them? I get that you believe our staff is busting their buns 24/7 365 but the truth is they don't. We lack elite recruiters and have only a couple that would be considered above average.

Raymond dropped the ball as you mentioned but There is no reason that if Bo himself told Leon to call back later that he couldn't spare the kid a few minutes and throw a few sales pitches his way. Any good salesman would do that. You are making Leon and his father out to be total losers and you have nothing but a he said she said to base this judgment.

Attack a recruits film, offers, size, speed etc all you want. No reason to call him and his family names and state their character as questionable. Truth is that your version and my version most likely both hold truths and the answer is in the middle.

So I should ignor the posts from Leon's father that were brought to my attention on another board that were attacking basically everything about our program? I saw them for myself. That is tool-ish behavior, I would never attack a person that I've never came encounter with, but what Leon's father did was unacceptable.

You know for a fact it was Leon's father posting? No possible way it was someone else? With the Internet it is practically impossible to say with 100% certainty it was his father trashing NU. Sure the IP could be his or he could claim to be Leon's father. Or it could be a family member upset with something that occurred. Neither of us know, I highly doubt he said anything that an upset fan on this board has not said before at some point in time. Still no reason to call others names

Yet, here's EZ-E, doing the EXACT same f'ing thing in a status update, but he's seen as some recruiting expert. Both were vague about their meaning... and yet one is blasted, the other not? In fact, those posts happen all the f'ing time in the recruiting forum.

It's because if you are new to the board and share opinions that others do not like you get blasted. And once you get blasted and hated on by enough of the members the mods see you as a problem. And once the mods see you as a problem you get banned.

I've come to the conclusion that this can be simulated by a simple math equation.

Different opinion than everyone else=banned.

And I'm not just talking about hedley. Anyone who has a different opinion in main forums get ripped to threads and the thread derails. And when the thread derails the only person who is responsible for it is the person with a different opinion. Not the person who's been here for a long time and made a post about how much of an idiot that person is. I as a matter of fact like many opinions and as I might not agree with all of them I like to see different viewpoints.

And I'm not arguing for Hedley either, because i dont even know the whole situation. I'm arguing for anyone who's had a different opinion and has gotten ripped to threads for it.

This just isn't true. I've been pretty consistent as a contrarian in my time here and have never gotten anywhere remotely close to being banned.

Thought I'd join this forum.

First, there is a for lack of a better word, dues process here. If you come on the board and approach people the way Hedley did, you get your sh#t kicked in that simple. Doesn't matter how right or how wrong you are. I've tried to avoid said poster, but it's really f'ing hard when every time I try to post something in my favorite forum on the board and all I see is Hedley's Anti-Pelini agenda. It needs to stop in the recruits threads, I understand conversations evlove, but they don't evlove into the same f'ing points every time.

This board has been the biggest bunch of crybabies in the past month than in my three years here.

because for some reason you've elevated yourself above 99% of the board. you used to post extremely knowledgeable information and opinions (albeit w/ a little bit too much sunshine for my taste). now you frequently post opinion as fact and attack as much as you share. this is why it's not good to meet up at tailgates w/ other posters. we get a long thread discussing how nice so and so is, how great knapplc can cook - and month of toolish behavior by a now self-determined "superior" poster.

Sorry, but I totally disagree with this. EZ-E is one of just a few people on this board who actually provide good, knowledgeable perspective of the football program and recruiting.

I'll let you think whatever you want, but I think I can say pretty confidently that your view of him is not a widely shared one among posters here.

There are plenty of posters on the board that have negative opinions and are not banned. Skersfan, Robsker, etc. so that is not true at all. I actually started to feel bad for Hedley bc of all the crap he takes from certain posters on here, but then he posted this:

First off thanks for taking the thread in a different direction. YOU now made this thread about me.

Never once have I gone to that level. Have I pointed out visible weaknesses as it relates to football? Heck yes I have. Completely different then calling someone names. Just because I have a Different opinion as it relates to NU does not make me some "crappy" fan. I root as loud and as hard as anyone that roots for NU and always root for a victory and for us to win. None of that has to do with the weaknesses our coaches and players have. Just because I criticize them means nothing. Oddly enough I also point out positives that many of you tend to ignore and only focus on the criticism.

Do you honestly believe every little thing in north stadium is sunshine and rainbows? Or could their possibly be some things that need to be fixed?

In regards to this thread an Leon congrats to the kid. He picked the school that he wants to attend to receive an education. I hope he does well in his future endeavors as long as it isn't against NU.

Actually EZ-E and Haspula BOTH mentioned Bo and compared it to Bo. I also made an observation as it relates to the two incidents. Nothing I said was incorrect either. But yeah my fault for making an observation after two other posters mentioned Bo
