Pretty cool vid on the new Corvette, the more I see it the more I like it. The front panels are pretty bad a$$ and really echo the original Stingray, in a very modern way. IMO I figured they would of had a little more power, 500hp is kind of the bottom line for cars like this.

 
You've all heard the saying; it's the greatest/best thing since sliced bread. My question is simple, what was the greatest/best thing BEFORE sliced bread? Please do not devolve into the merits of using sliced bread as the benchmark. Taking the discussion in that direction will do nothing but hurt feelings and strain relationships. Ok go.

I guess maybe the debate has to be about the merits of sliced bread. For the life of me I cannot picture a world where, at that point in time, people collectively could have thought that sliced bread was better than any/all previous inventions. I mean really how hard is it to slice bread at home? At what point does someone say awe screw the wheel/printing press/cottongin, this pre-sliced bread beats those things hands down? Makes a guy wonder if being the best thing since sliced bread is even a compliment.
