***Official Weather Thread***

It just started snowing HARD in middle Missouri. It just started so it hasn't accumulated much, but it is probably the hardest I've ever seen it snow.

 
Sounds like all the heavy snow went south towards Kansas and Kansas City. Hutchinson, KS is reporting 14" of snow on the ground right now and it's not done, Topeka has 5" and snowing very hard. Lincoln may have lucked out.

Close down 435 and/or 29. Not really that excited about driving to Nebraska to see the lady friend.

 
Radar says it's been snowing here for the last 24 hours-ish. Says it's snowing in Lincoln right now. Looking out my window and.... no snow. Huh.

I don't doubt we'll get some snow here. But as has been mentioned several times, the air is so dry that any snow will have to be pushed up here by the winds, borne along on the storm itself. It won't be able to use pre-existing air moisture.
