Adam Taylor & Terrell Newby - who is the better NFL prospect?

No offense to anyone, but I want it on record that I think Newby will be the better of the two backs. Like AT the more I see of him, but I think Newby is going to be special.

Join the bandwagon I've been on record from day 1 saying that Newby is going to be a great one for us and that he has the ability to take a serious amount of carries from Ameer.

That said, I think Adam Taylor is a better NFL prospect in the long run.

Not a single play at the college level and he's going to the NFL...I love it when people count chickens before they're hatched.

I love the reading comprehension of some people around here... I just love it when people can't read worth a crap and get their panties in a bunch.

He's more or less saying he fits the mold of what the pro scouts are looking for. Newby is more of a specialty back ie DeAnthony Thomas. He is not saying that Newby will be or is as good, HE IS SIMPLY GIVING YOU AN IDEA OF THE TYPE OF BACK HE IS! Get that through your head.

When you think someone will make a good NFL prospect, you're saying they have what it takes to do well at this level. How about we try to wait until he's taken a snap before we start thinking he's going to be a great NFL prospect? People talk about players as prospects based on a variety of things, but one of the biggest things is their physical make-up. Adam Taylor has a body that will hold up better in the NFL at the RB position more than Terrell Newby. It's not other people trying to "redefine" the word prospect. When you say someone is an NFL Prospect, you're thinking someone who has played before...not someone who looks big or sturdy...if that were the case, everyone's teams would be full of NFL Prospects...there are tons of big boys out there.

See, what separates NFL prospects from the pack is ABILITY. That's something we haven't seen from AT yet. Once he gets on the field and demonstrates that his ability can make the jump to college...I'll jump on that bandwagon of NFL prospect with you. Until we do see him play college ball, he's not an NFL prospect.
