PROSPECT.... as in his physical make-up.... Good God....
Excellent. Now we're redefining what 'NFL Prospect' means and taking away from how it was used in order to save face. You're also making it seem that I am a moron for not knowing automatically that you changed it. Thanks for that.
We should get a few more people in here to pile it on me for thinking "NFL Prospect" means someone is destined for the NFL.
No.... it doesn't.
People talk about players as prospects based on a variety of things, but one of the biggest things is their physical make-up. Adam Taylor has a body that will hold up better in the NFL at the RB position more than Terrell Newby. It's not other people trying to "redefine" the word prospect. It's you that doesn't understand what it means.
Nah dude, I understand just fine.
When you say someone is an NFL Prospect, you're thinking someone who has played before...
not someone who looks big or sturdy...if that were the case, everyone's teams would be full of NFL Prospects...there are tons of big boys out there.
See, what separates NFL prospects from the pack is
ABILITY. That's something we haven't seen from AT yet. Once he gets on the field and demonstrates that his ability can make the jump to college...I'll jump on that bandwagon of NFL prospect with you. Until we do see him play college ball, he's not an NFL prospect.
Now I'm sorry I hurt your feelings because I called you out when you misspoke yourself or meant something else...but understand, it's not my fault you did. Let's buck up, move on and talk about football instead of this lame a$$ attempt to label me as an ignorant fool for showing fault in another persons' statements.
Honestly, this feels like carryover from my Imani Cross thread. Pretty sad if it is.
