The Tangent Thread

If the Tangent thread becomes a consistent thread filled with a rainbow of topics, does it then become too consistent to be considered a tangent. Does it become a tangent of itself. If it absorbs itself then doesn't it become something entirely different although it maintains all the same characteristics of its previous self?

although this is an interesting thread, does anyone else get tired of living in the past, 20 years ago?.....i mean really guys, do we still hang our hat and greatness on accomplishments 20 years ago?......if we don't win sh#t for the next 10 years, do we revisit 1994 again.....wow....

What is wrong with discussing and remembering great teams of the past?

I guess we could all just sit around and complain about how horrible our undefeated team is. Yep...that's much more fun.

I didn't mean this thread to be "live in the past", I just thought it would be fun to poke fun of interweb message boards while remembering a National Championship season.

I am sure Hunter would have been the one who was complaining about everything, even while NU went 13-0 that season.

come on man, i cheered for this school and attended classes before you were even born.......my only point is so many people want to live in the past when we were relevant and winners....so how silly do we look when we have to go back 20 or 30 years to make a case for greatness?....the more we allude to our once found greatness the more often the media reminds us of how we are not relevant any longer......i understand, when we are struggling, we dream of the past....and it is but a dream.
