The "Outrageously Idiotic Past the Point of Comprehension" Statements Thread

walks, how are you any different than Polo given you constantly gripe about Beck but Pelini gets a pass from you? He hired Beck didn't he? I'm not a Bo fan either. The guy's had plenty of time to put his mark on this program. Tommy has had what, 11 games?

Tommy lost 2 games. He was just fortunate that RK3 stepped in and won one of them back for him
Cuz we're 100% sure Tommy could NOT have made a little flat pass and a 50 yard pass to the endzone.

I think it's a wash, cuz a healthy Tommy wouldve beat Iowa.
I think during that game, Tommy could have made that pass. Unfortunately it would have been completed to a Northwestern player.

good point. i like tommy, i am critical of bo. those are not mutually exclusive. but it does seem odd to defend bo and then criticize what he is responsible for.

i like a lot of bo's players. it is one of my bigger criticisms of bo, in fact. he has quality players, but does not fully utilize their talent.

I got it. That's cool.

Now do me a favor and look in that crystal ball and tell me what my powerball numbers should be for tonight.

Who are you referring to that Bo hasn't fully utilized their talent? How are you gauging talent? Those contentions can be awfully ambiguous (by design, I presume).

If Bo found a 3* RB and molded him into one of the most prolific backs in Husker history and a Heisman contender, would you commend his coaching?

It seems odd to endlessly criticize Bo and not consider what he is responsible for.

It goes both ways.

Relax, man. I'm joking. I think the Fyfe-Armstrong-Stanton debate is stupid at this point. So I decided to troll.

I know. I'm trying to add to the discombobulation.

Given the track record, I'd say most of Ameer's development is attributable to Ron Brown and Ameer himself. But yes, Bo hired. Brown, same as the others.

first, yes, you caught me. i am intentionally vague to satisfy my deceitful and manipulative propaganda agenda. god forbid someone just make a comment without having some ulterior motive and to simply share an observation.

second, i was giving bo credit for the players he gets. i explicitly said i like the players bo gets. but when i say they are not fully utilized, i mean they underachieve. they do not come close to their potential. we have had many great players and squads that deserved better than 4 losses, no championships, and embarrassing losses.

that was my point. i guess i did not make it very clear. i should have said he does not get his teams to their potential, even though they have great talent.

when i defend players, i am implicitly commending the coach. just as when someone criticizes players, they are implicitly criticizing the coach. that should be obvious.

So, who's fault that Braylon Heard and Aaron Green left the team, Pelini or Brown?
