No, not officially, but they could run the situation by the NCAA to get some kind of idea of what they would be up against.

The show cause cannot be an issue. The NCAA would take so much heat for upholding the suspension of a man that covered up a backdoor exchange of services to players during a short period of time when they lifted the suspension from a SCHOOL that covered up the molestation of children that lasted 15 years (that we know of)!

Yeah Schiano is a terrible idea. Anyone that followed the Tampa Bay stuff would understand the guy was a huge jerk and his team flat out quit on the guy. Not the leader we're looking for.

 
I wonder, 26 pages into this thing and counting, if the creator of the.sock.puppet imagined he'd be creating a character this popular. One could equate this to Faux Pelini's popularity, on a HuskerBoard scale.

I'll be interested to know the answer to that when this is all over.

Peeps... it wasn't a tweet. It wasn't Instagram. M. Roses' mom posted on her Facebook timeline, not too long after the firing of Pelini. She mentioned not being happy about Pelini being fired, the way the players were informed, and then she suggested that Tressel was being hired. I'm in the midst of confirming if the post is still on her timeline.

My experience is those with true "insider" knowledge keep their mouths shut. Those who very openly purport to have "insider" knowledge are often - but not always - people simply seeking attention.

They're good conversation fodder. Basing beliefs off of these things can be risky, and lead to great disappointment. In the realm of message boards, "insiders" are to be treated with caution.
