This is pretty much how society works period. If you're good/well-liked/popular/respected in a community you are able to get away with more. Aren't you kind of doing the same thing by only critiquing huskerboard for it when every societal circle is guilty of it?

The rules don't bend both ways. They bend one or the other. You think they bend against people that are disliked, but I think they moreso bend in favor of people that are well-liked, while staying in their 'rightful' place for people that dissent. Maybe that's just semantics, though.

Okay so far this discussion has basically swirled into polo deserved it because he has better punch lines/broke rules blah blah. What about Abdullah or SW? I find it odd that all 3 got the ax at the same time and really they all 3 in recent memory had one problem against one admin

it is confusing, on one hand knapp worked really hard to get polo to come into the fold. on the other hand it came down to a rules violation.

who knows. i guess just be careful. gbr!

1.) They used "butt hurt" in the open forums too much
