The Village of the "Banned"

Depends on the day Nuance. My warning came from copy/pasting a mod's response to someone as a response to them farther down the discussion because it was equally applicable in both case. I got banned.

Didn't you see the PM exchange of ShawnWatson? He clearly had a warning. He went with the "don't" decision rule response. Not sure about the others.

I suspect the problem is, some of these guys have pushed the mods/admins to the point where tolerance is wearing thin. Now wouldn't be a good time to engage in things like publishing part of a PM conversation with a mod/admin in order to try to make him look unreasonable. Just sayin...

I'm gonna come out and just say this one thing so here it goes.....

I don't know why Polo, ShawnWatson, AtB got the boot and whether Chaddy or RoboRiot got the boot as well but I have 5 warning levels. The last one was way back on April 15th, 2011, that was almost 4 years ago people. There is a thing called maturing and understanding what you did wrong and learning from it. If the above 5 have done things wrong in the past that were against board rules and have been warned numerous times to stop and learn from it but didn't, then by all means they got what they deserved.

I'm not perfect far from it, but if someone is going to tell me that I messed up, I'm going to do my very best to learn from it, work on it so it doesn't happen again. Its not hard to do that very basic concept. That's all I have say about that

And these guys (except Watson) didn't even get warnings. So your point sorta sucks brah.

 
One other thing lest we get started down that road, I'm not exactly what you'd call a yes-man, mod brown-noser. It's just that in this situation I can see where the mods/admins are coming from. You mess with a bull, you get the horns. The first three banned guys got warning after warning and just kept pushing it. I'm not sure about these last three banned/vacationed guys. But it seems like they picked up the flag of the first three and continued marching on. (They might just be vacationed, and not banned. Hard to tell at this point.)

btw, For those who haven't visited the Shed in the last 8 hours or so, some of the threads in here got pretty salty last night. I think some of the offending posts have been deleted. So it might not make sense to those looking at things for the first time this morning.

edit: Actually, the stuff that I suspect got these last three banned was in the statuses last night, and is still in the Polo thread, towards the end of page 9, here in the Shed. I would recommend not quoting some of those posts.

That they didn't get warnings that they were going to get banned? Why should they if they've been warned numerous times in the past to shape up?

Yes I'm sure chaddy had been warned numerious times in the past to shape up. Fabulous argument though.
