The reason they get pissed has to do with history. You call someone who's Korean Chinese and they're more than likely going to get pissed because it's not the same heritage, and they general don't care for each other. Now, that being said, that guy might have dealt with far more than i realize in terms of being judged or people presuming things based on how he looks. He is an american, and is proud of that... I get that.

My opinion is right with these 2, depending on the day and the mood I'm in. Call it ethnocentrism or politically correct or whatever, there is just way too many thin skinned people around these days. I'm not quite sure why that is...probably a ton of factors. I get words hurt and stuff, but in this situation where the lady is asking a question and maybe just mis-worded the phrase, is she seriously not getting a pass for that?

What kind of person doesn't allow for another person to make a mistake and just forget about it. I dunno, I guess I am just of the opinion that is someone mis-words something and its usually easy to find/hear the mistake I just let it go. Instead of letting it give me a reason to be an a$$.

However, sometimes I am irritated or touchy and it does make me want to be an a$$, does it make it right to be an a$$? No. Am I going to apologize? No probably not, because I don't think forgiveness always requires an apology first.
