I'd be a mod but I'm just a young man from small town Nebraska.........too many physical limitations. Plus it'd be a "red flag" if I was to take a mod position.
You're also annoying as all get out every time you do this.
Ha ha! Why did this little jest set you off so much?? Is it that "red flag" time of the month or something?

We had one play to defend to win. It reminded me of the bowl game hail mary vs. SC at the half. We clearly had the better team but still managed to lose. How is this better than previous years? I don't know. But I do know that I believe if we had Bo as a Head Coach we would have won this one handily. On to the next game I guess.
you are an idiot
Why is he an idiot? Everyone wanted a coaching change to "TURN THE PROGRAM AROUND" now suddenly, with a new coach, no one wants to blame coaching???

Thanks.
You're welcome.

i hope there is not this much turmoil in the husker locker room. say what you will about riley, he knows how to maintain the husker locker room. bo seemed to always have a mess in the husker locker room; this thread seems to be an extension of that.

why does he not just live in the nebraska locker room until he finds a home? those are some nice digs!

We saw what michigan did to BYU, and if anyone noticed, NC flippin State beat S. Alabama 63-13. All I'm hoping for is a bowl game, and maybe we'll be tougher next year...

I don't hate bo, but I don't miss him. S'pose it was his time to go. All I care about is where we are now. For those who were there, and those who watched, did you notice the decibel level when Janovich was rumbling? That's the loudest I've heard the stadium since OU in 09. 90% of those in red have been BEGGING for smashmouth football for 11 years, and Riley just ain't gonna bring it here.
We shall see, 408 never let the fullback carry the ball at all, Langsdorf has it in his playbook and said he will use it against susceptible defenses

And with that, keep this on topic. You wanna b!^@h about Bo? Go start your own damn thread.
From Dirk today

Fullback 0 carries in the last 3 years Shocking!

In the last 10 years 16 carries! 7 of those years were under 408 Shocking..

I have never bitched about 408 once. I present the facts and they speak for themselves.

Rivals report on his visit

Out of his long, impressive college offer list, Jordan Elliott chose to take his first official visit to Nebraska and he was glad he did.

The Houston (Texas) Westside defensive tackle prospect gave his NU trip a glowing review.

Nebraska made a very positive impression on Elliott during his first official visit.
"It went well," the 6-foot-5, 300-pound Elliott told HOL.com. "I enjoyed myself. I enjoyed my visit. I was mostly hanging out with the coaches and the players."

Cornhusker freshman defensive back Avery Anderson was his player host who showed Elliott around during his stay in Lincoln.

"Yeah, he was my host and he just showed me around the city," Elliott said. "He also showed me the dorms and stuff.

"Just going to the game and experiencing that [was the highlight]. It was a unique experience and the fans are real passionate. I got there like mid third quarter, but it was still great."

Elliott said that he spent the most time over the past two days around the Huskers' defensive line coach and head coach.

"I hung out with Coach Hank Hughes a lot," Elliott recounted. "He was just telling me that he sees me as more than just a football player. It's not just about football, it's about education and life after football. I liked it.

"Coach (Mike) Riley was talking to me and my mom about how we need to communicate more. I called my mom on the phone and Coach Riley and I were talking with her."

With this being his first trip to NU, there were certain things that surprised Elliott about the Huskers' program.

"Just how much stuff they have to benefit their football players," Elliott said. "It's a lot."

Elliott's next official visit will be to Oklahoma on November 20 and he's also considering trips to USC, Texas and Michigan.

"At the end of the day, I'm just going to have to make a tough decision," Elliott stated about what will determine where he ends up playing his college ball.

"All of these programs are real good and at the end of the day I'm just going to have to talk to my family and make a tough decision."

There is one criterion that is most important to his mother and his family, according to Elliott.

"Academics."

As to what his main takeaways from Nebraska will be as he was heading home, Elliott replied:

"I love Nebraska," Elliott shared. "Just the family attitude that Nebraska has -- it's a great football town, everybody's friendly, and the academics are top of the line.

"They have everything you would want as far as technology and top of the line facilities. It was just a good experience."

After his trip to Lincoln, Elliott was asked if he now considers Nebraska a legitimate possible college destination for him and he had a one word response.

"Definitely."
