Below are the comparisons of recruits brought in by Solich, Callahan, and Pelini. I think one of the main things to look at is what the coach left for the other. Unless you are bringing in a major recruit or Jucos - they usually aren't going to be a major asset to your team within their first 2 years at the program. Especially when we change the offensive and defensive system/schemes. Thus showing the importance of taking what you have and making the best of it.
Not trying to point anything out, just was curious myself on the issue.
