I get that the easy thing to do is gang up on him at this point and try and run him off. For once can we not do that? We are losing enough good posters already. Yes Matty is a good poster, he just lets his emotions get the best of him.

He's brought drama since the day he got here. It'd be great if he could change, I'm not sure he can.

 
He needs to go through his Numbing. I remember when Hedley became numb. He's much calmer now.

I'm mean seriously, yes he brings stuff to the table, but gets his panties in a wad far too much when his opinion isn't shared. Even when facts are presented against his opinion, optimism whatever.

As I knapp said he needs to settle down or it will get worse. This is far from the first time this has been an issue with posters and won't be the last.

Hopefully he can otherwise this appears to be heading down the wifi road

Hell decked needed a good daily throat punching his first couple of months, but now he is a fine member of society that probably oddly still lives with momma and daddy.

He takes things personally. It takes a while for some people to learn how not to do that.

Redux isn't that far off with his assessment of me.

I'll lay it out there for those who care to know.

We are all Husker fans, correct? I don't mind disagreements or discussions about certain topics. Truly don't. What bugs me generally relates to... talking about firing coaches and recruiting.

Why does everything always revolve around firing a coach? Don't get it. Never will.

Why do certain posters give off the impression that they want this staff to fail at recruiting? It's f'ing mind blowing. I realize I am blindly optimistic at times. Why the f#*k not? I want the best players at Nebraska. I'm not going to bank on them not coming for 5 months straight? I'll just move on after NSD when there is no opportunity for them to come anymore... until transfers occur

I have not seen anybody in the recruiting section give off the impression they want the staff to fail. They are giving information and opinion based off the information presented. sh#t, if everyone waited til after signing day to give information or opinion on a recruit, it would be boring as hell. I appreciate what Mavric, ADS, Warrior10, AtBone and others do in the recruiting forum. I appreciate when they say its not looking good for us getting a recruit, because most of the time they have been correct in the past. They are members to the recruiting sites and follow them daily. Thats better than Nate Clouse blowing smoke up everyones butt saying we will get every recruit we are after.

You're a young pup here, so let me tl;dr it for you.

It's not that they want them to fail at recruiting. It's that we haven't been good enough at it in twenty-something years. For those of us who follow recruiting, we've had the rug pulled out from under us year after year. I've been doing it since '05 when I started at BRR @ scout. Until NU starts actually landing these top tier guys, I don't expect it.
