I guess no surprise that Lewis went with USC, but its disappointing and a bit of a downer for today. So we now have 3 WRs in this class, when it looked like a few weeks ago we had lots of options with Thompson, Calvin, Lewis, Gomes, Hawkins, etc...

USC finally got a coach who wasn't about the Hollywood lifestyle. Helton wasn't a big hit with fans because he doesn't prioritize $1,000 accessories but he was exactly what USC needed. They looked bigger, faster, and stronger than they've looked since the Carroll years and now they're going to be a pain to recruit against, specifically in southern Cal.

Props to your coaches for being the favorite for Lewis for most of the year. That kind of relationship building will make the difference more times than not.

Also pay no attention to "Nebraska is a few years from landing this type of recruit." That's a crock. Cal landed the #1 ATH from Georgia last year and they have a fanbase and Athletic Department that could be described as indifferent towards football.

Its not that hard to understand. a) Many of the kids are from LA b) And they may have been playing the best football of anyone over the last 2 months of the season.
