They hadn't seen this until this spring from Eric Lee.
Mike Riley said as much on Saturday in discussing his optimism about the cornerback being a guy who can help in 2017.
The third-year sophomore is now working as the backup corner to Lamar Jackson. Coaches say he'll play. His position coach Donte' Williams thinks Lee has improved "a lot" even since Williams has been here.
An improved state of mind can do wonders.
"It's one thing at corner to improve technique-wise," Williams said. "It's another thing when you're confidence starts improving and your manneurisms start improving. And that's what I see in him."
