If you have the NextDoor App you can see how many people HATE fireworks and the 4th. It is pretty fun to read the posts.
F*ck that app. My fiancée suggested I download it and it is a 24/7 bitchfest in our neighborhood.
Ha! I know! I can't get enough of the train wrecks on that app. I don't have the notifications on because if I did my phone would explode but I still check it for a good laugh. I think I found out that everyone in my neighborhood has...

1. Small child that hates fireworks

2. Pets that hate fireworks

3. Family member that lives with them that has PTSD and is a vet...and hates fireworks.

Also...everyone is an expert on the neighborhood covenants.

So, basically it is like reading the posts here...

There's a lot of correlation! I've also noticed a lot of people:

1) Lose their dog or spot a 'missing dog'

2) Have a *insert tool or household item here* for sale

3) Saw a suspicious figure doing suspicious things in a suspicious way at pretty much any hour of the day

Ugh. Why did I invite people over? I hate cleaning.
Do what I do:

"Hi. Thanks for coming over. This is what is left: dusting the living room, vacuuming the carpets and cleaning the toilets. After you have passed inspection, I will let you know where the food and drinks are"

So your neighborhood has suspicious figures trying to get rid of tools after dogs go missing? What have you been up to, Enhance?

Right on! The suspicious van posts are out of control and also...how hard is it to NOT lose your dog?

In fairness to your neighbors, I wouldn't want to see you jerkin' in the bushes neither.

Hey, I'm not really interested in the details here

Sorry, I don't like getting my details from a group of posters who routinely hound others with opposing views until they concede their opinion out of spite or quit posting. To each their own though.
And this shows the ignorance. Conversations routinely end with disagreement. I've agreed to disagree with LL. Zoogs and Moiraine routinely do with JJ and BRI.
BRB and myself have said we agree with something Trump did and nobody jumped down our throats. And I'm not very eloquent in getting my thoughts out

And some times people tlget confused by that. If your logic is flawed or someone can't understand, expect to get flak, you can take that criticism and learn, or leave it.

They should look at it as a privilege.

I am considering buying an old windowless van just to drive around my neighborhood at night...I feel like some of the NextDoor users would appreciate having a topic to worry about. I might even slow down at certain houses for a few moments, turn off the lights, then speed off.

I only half-cleaned. Ended up hiding a couple things in the bathroom cabinets. It's basically the same thing I did whenever my mom asked me to clean my room.

Aren't you a teacher?

Go for it. I can't wait to read about it in my Facebook news feed.
