I understand, but, if you are actively talking to another coach, then you need to fire your current coach and put a interim coach in place.

While that is usually a good idea, who else on this staff would be able to handle those duties?  The coaching staff is loaded with incompetency.

But could you imagine how spectacularly spectacular it would be to watch the strain from Diaco on doing press conferences in lieu of riley.

Winner of UCF - Nebrasketball game gets Frost

I’m with Football Guy Bob. I don’t want to put future of football program in the forever bad basketball teams hands

Trey Wallace is a person that has broken many stories for TN for many years is saying this morning (radio show) that the TCU head coach is a candidate for the TN job. He isn't saying he will be there next head coach, but Patterson and TN have been talking.

Personally I would be surprised if he left TCU for TN, but he did interview with them in 2007.

JAV (just a vol) on 247, the most reliable insider for TN on that forum, is saying Chip Kelly to Florida may not happen. Frost to UF isn't going to happen.

Personally, I will stick with thinking Chip to UF until I see something reliable (reliable FLorida source) that says something otherwise.

I hear the Calabasas job is opening up and Frost is the favorite there.  There is so much talent at the middle schools in the 500 mile radius to turn down the job.  My sources are telling me co head coaches Joe Ganz/Dailey will be announced at Moos's Thanksgiving dinner.

As far as the legalities of contracts go. If Mike Riley has not been fired yet, Scott Frost is still under contract with UCF. Could he still sign a contract with NU. Putting a future start date in the contract? Just curious.
