Lord Frost shall part the red of the storm and the Huskers will walk through Akron
According to 247, 1991 against Utah StWhen's the last time there has been a lightning delay at Memorial Stadium?
not sure if it was the last time or not....but i was at the Utah state game in 1991 when there was about an hour delay due to lighning. When's the last time there has been a lightning delay at Memorial Stadium?
Right now the storm closest to a Lincoln vector is south of Lebanon, KS. As the crow flies, it is 125 miles between Lebanon & Lincoln. The severe storms in Kansas are currently moving 30 mph. That means the 9 pm hour to get to Lincoln. If storms not currently on radar pop up closer to Lincoln, the precip will be earlier.
No. The instability and shear are through the roof. If anything, they'll strengthen here. Good news is it'll pass before a new round comes so there will be about a 3-4 hour window to finish the game after whatever delay there is. Plenty of time.Any chance that the line of storms "burns" out before reaching Lincoln?

Still could! :lol:That's what I had thought - was relying on the vaunted Lincoln Dome to save the day
