not sure if it was the last time or not....but i was at the Utah state game in 1991 when there was about an hour delay due to lighning.

Right now the storm closest to a Lincoln vector is south of Lebanon, KS. As the crow flies, it is 125 miles between Lebanon & Lincoln. The severe storms in Kansas are currently moving 30 mph. That means the 9 pm hour to get to Lincoln. If storms not currently on radar pop up closer to Lincoln, the precip will be earlier.

According to the Weather Channels radar, looks like between 8:30 and 9:30 is when it will be the worst

No. The instability and shear are through the roof. If anything, they'll strengthen here. Good news is it'll pass before a new round comes so there will be about a 3-4 hour window to finish the game after whatever delay there is. Plenty of time.

Can't control the weather. But we know Nebraska weather is a bit inconsistent so I guess let's just go extremely fast with our tempo so we can hang 49 on them before the storm rolls in lol.

A storm has already fired east of Crete and another cluster just getting started north of Hebron.

(much closer to Lincoln). My best hope is that the severe stuff slides just south of Lincoln.
