The Village of the "Banned"

Funny thing is, most of the people who get back in after a ban often don't get caught because they don't behave the same way that got them banned in the first place.

Which is pretty stupid. If you're willing to change after a ban, maybe you should have done that in the first place.
I'm sure there are some people that are locked up in prison would change tomorrow if you'd let them out today.....

Adding two more names to the village: @ScottyIce and @Ric Flair.

@commando he unabashedly posted in a status update that a certain B1G program "sucks donkey ****." He's had too many warnings to know better than that. It's too bad, but, he's been given more leeway than just about anyone.

As for Ric, it looks like he was banned right away for the comments he made. I believe it was his fifth warning in about one year. I always assumed it would only be a matter of time before he got the boot. On more than one occasion, he told me he felt like it was his responsibility (bordering on civic duty) to maintain a passionate conservative presence on here to balance out all of the perceived liberalism. It just always felt odd to me. This is a Husker football message board. Of all the things that have an impact on politics, policy, and opinion in this country, the Huskerboard P&R forum is likely among the least relevant.

there are about a dozen of us in there complaining about trump......people always complain about presidents.  more vocally sometimes than others.  he wasn't changing a damn thing on the national scale and neither were those of us in there who don't like trump.   to get that worked up about it makes him seem like (to use a term he liked)  a snowflake.   lol.

YES!  Now, could you imagine if both sides would agree that this is true...there would be no need for that forum at all and no need for the crazy "Do you have a link" crowd.

A “passionate conservative presence” is great, as is civil discussion. But he was rarely civil. Even so, I never thought most of his BS was worthy of a ban. However, the racist crap does not need to be here at all, and that is what he brought out on Saturday (only saw a couple of posts, not sure if there were more).

I honestly thought HuskerNation1 would get a ban for that sort of stuff before Ric Flair, as HN1 defends and supports Trump’s racism unabashedly. But maybe he doesn’t directly spew it himself, I suppose.

I may be confusing Scotty for someone else. I thought he received a permaban as Matty at one point and then was allowed back but I may be mistaken.
