I'd like to nominate the people who can't tell the difference in the 2-3 different arguments going on and keep blurring them together.
1. Just because there were no sexual assault allegations and no one seeing the video thought it was sexual assault, doesn't mean it wasn't sexual assault. Just because someone waits 2 years doesn't mean it wasn't sexual assault.
2. There are reasons to doubt it was sexual assault. I have my doubts that it was sexual assault, unrelated to the above. I don't think charges will ever be brought and there will almost definitely never be a conviction. The video likely would not add anything to the argument that it was sexual assault.
3. Washington didn't know it was a video of sexual assault, real or alleged.
