If that turns out to be the schedule, it’s brutal.  Gonna need about 50 more 4.5 star guys and hang on to the best of the current roster too!   Better raise another 30 mil for the NIL funds!   God, it would be a fun year with a top 5 team.  But ….. ?   I still believe God is a Husker fan - he’s just been testing the faithful.  Hope it’s not 40 years of wandering in the cfb desert!

Hell of a finishing stretch

10/26 @ Ohio St

11/2 UCLA

11/16 @ USC

11/23 Wisconsin

11/30 @ Iowa (assume this will be 11/29)

8 wins

9 wins

I mean, if that is special than axing Bo was an even bigger mistake.

UCLA is okay, they are not a dominate team though.
Never said it's special to win 8 or 9 games.  Bo Pelini was so 10 years ago.

But, UCLA is winning 8 & 9 games and now 6-2 after a stretch where they won 4, 6, 3, 4, 3 games prior to winning 8, then 9 games during current times when offenses and teams around the country are playing better and inserting players with NIL/Transfer portal players.  It's a totally different time than when Bo was beating South Dakota, Western Kentucky, Idaho and Arkansas State on the yearly to get those 9 wins with just 8 conference games at hand.
