Tangent Thread - P&R Edition

1 thread callin out hypocrisy is not a Cancer.  If I made thread called DONALD TRUMP IS A SAINT and only posted positive Trump crap and progoganda, that would be a cancer.  Yet, there are roughly 400 threads that are the polar opposite of exactly that and none of those are called cancers.

Some of those are a cancer too. I don't look at 80 to 90 percent of the P&R threads more than once.

You're thread isn't a cancer because you made it. It's a cancer because you put yourself into it to be the center of attention again. You don't like to acknowledge things that don't fit your view just like the people you are trying to call out, it's pretty hypocritical. Saying Redux supports Trump is moronic. Wanting people to say rosey things about one of the worst leaders we've ever had is equally moronic.

And you're being equally moronic by trying to Mother hen both sides of this debacle.  I get the feeling you actually think someone is actually going to have a lightbulb moment and see the error of their ways.  But you can't help it can you?  Just like when Landlord sits back until an argument ends THEN makes a page and a half long hit piece on whoever was in the minority of the argument.  Just like 84 can't help writing novel long posts nobody reads.  Just like knapp can't help the blatant bias against basically all Republicans (probably not true).  Just like I can't help but be an obnoxious prick these days.

Being the center of attention isn't ever a goal of mine here, I can promise you that.  At least not when it comes to political crap.  But if I see something that I feel like needs mentioned, I'll do it.  Would you and Cpuppy923 really been less annoyed had I just used the PDBHOF?  I honestly doubt it.

You can dish it out but you can never seem to take it. I don't give a s#!t if you change or not, all I was doing is pointing out what's obvious to me (and I'm sure others here as well). Same as you are doing, but for some reason that makes your anus achy. You can take it or leave it, but I'll still leave my comments.

Once upon a time you so kindly told me that I used the word ignorance as a way to talk down to others. I listened; and even though I didn't mean it that way I realized what you said had some merit. So, I use the word very sparingly these days and try to make sure I'm not using it as a put down directed at somebody. Sometimes, if you're open to self evaluation, criticism on this board can affect change, ya prick  :P

Who says i haven't?  And I'm more than well aware of my flaws.  I could list off a couple dozen or so that you folk haven't picked up on.  Most people suck, myself included.  I just stopped trying to win the arbitrary popularity contest and am now trying to not get worked up by certain people.  I have a handful of people on ignore that I genuinely would not be able to stand in real life and my experience here has been better because of it.

Half of us are probably under 17 years old...the other half are probably over 70...and the third half probably lie about everything we say except for the fact that we are Husker fans and I guess even that Landlord person is actually and Iowa fan.

Your family, close friends, maybe people at work...those are the people that you might want to listen to a bit. 

I mean, if you got a random text from a number you didn't know and they started to text you s#!t about how you should live your life...you would tell them to F off and block the number...that is essentially what we are here.

No banning and vacations for this stuff anymore (which is totally fair) because we have been fine with ripping on politicians now, their physical features and even doing medical and shrink work about them!

Questioning the mental capabilities of the president and making fun of Trump's make up aren't similar to asking if Clinton is a woman. The latter is a put down to a lot more people than just Clinton.

So @TGHusker it'd be nice if you'd stop with that s#!t and call her an a$$h@!e instead.

I would argue that ANYONE with mental issues would find the things we say about Trump and his mental capabilities to be a put down.

We also rip on his appearance.  Which is what I am doing. 

You also said, about a month ago, that as long as those politicians don't post here that it was okay to make fun of them.
