All true, check it out for yourself. It’s been covered extensively here on the forum. Is that real or just rumors? Many have been talking about a 9-5 vote that was really 11-3. A lot of opinions have been formed with bogus rumors/statements. My guess is the B1G never intended to play. Our league has states that were hard hit by Covid-19.
But as you already stated, we shall see. In the meantime, Georgia's prejected starting QB just announced he's not playing. Clemson's best receiver already announced he's not playing.
the big cancelled the season before any kids were on campus, that’s a fact. They announced this less than a week after coming out with the new fall schedule, that is a fact. They used a faulty study that has been completely discredited to sell the league on the idea that there were lung issues caused by covid that young people were at risk from-that is a fact. They had no detailed fall plans and protocols in place , that’s why coaches like Brohm were cooking up with their own plans- that’s a fact
there’s lots more, the big totally flubbed this. I’ve never said 9-5, I’m very confident there were 3 -could be more yes votes.
At the end of the day the big10 footprint isn’t what the big 12, sec and acc are- pretty homogenous red states. The big is a total mix with no dominant overwhelming majorities like the sec, big 12 and acc have- minus of course Nebraska.
You have Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Miss, Alabama, Tennessee , Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia, all very red. Florida, North Carolina, Missouri Iowa Red too. but smaller margins. Virginia split , Maryland and ny blue. In the big only Nebraska with the wide red margins, everyone else split or blue. It is what it is.
