Nebraska Will Prevail.

Missouri always plays the big NU v MU game as if it is their National Championship game, and they choke.

Just a little taste of what's to come....

NU actually has an audio/visual department for our football program....

Tigerboard is biased...and so am I....

I've respected every post prior to his mocking on Tigerboard.com. I still respect him, depending on how he responds. Tigerboard.com is an absolute joke for Husker fans. I've been posting and hanging around there for over a week, and watched numerous NU fans get booted for making OBJECTIVE observations...essentially observations that challenge the MU fans stances.

They're the typical, we deal it out...can't take it in return crowd.

Observe their board, and tell me that NU posts are out of line. In fact, my posts have been congenial compared to the S&*% spewed here by many MU fans....

Long story short, I know TrumanBD reads this board, as he has repeatedly posted our threads on TB.

It's just fun to hear what "MIZZOU" fans have to say when there isn't a "mob anger" factor tabulated into it.

On TB, Mob Anger is the method in which one rids posters that conflict the "accepted" view. Or in this case, the "MIZZOU" view.

I'm speaking of MU's performance in "big" games. Their boards are listing this game as one of the biggest in the last 25 years. For the love of sam, look at their past records!

Also, I don't drink. What's your excuse, "Johnny I'm Up At the Same Time I Judge Thee"?

I do agree with you that Mizzou's History isn't anything to brag about. I mean look at it this way. The two biggest games in the last 20 years were both losses. Yes, one of them WAS a FLUKE! But losses nevertheless. So in that regard, yes a little pathetic but we are playing Nebraska, one of the most storied programs in recent history so getting to play and a possible victory against Nebraska especially with "an up for grabs Big 12 North" at this point is a BIG deal down in Columbia. I think everyone realizes this isn't the 95 or 97 Huskers but they are STILL NU with a vaunted history and a big name. The Tigers could be playing LSU or USC and I'm not sure the game could be any bigger in COMO than this game against Nebraska. I posted a youtube of our second loss or should I say the KING of MORAL Victories for Mizzou????


Oh, and as far as any trashtalking. Look at the Kansas Board, these are the things we are used to all year long. Why is it taking place with NU? I have not a clue. Its usually the Jayhawkers who we talk trash about....Hmmm..

I'd like to know what I did to "mock" you on tigerboard. I think I have been courteous with my discussion with and of Nebraska fans there. I think if you read the posts, I haven't acted like some of our Mizzou fans have. There are always a small group of "bad" fans on any board. I am sure you have them here too, but I don't believe that minority reflects the sentiment of most Mizzou fans.

I certainly recognize the tradition Nebraska has and that Mizzou does not, but I am proud of the direction our program is heading.

I have posted threads from Huskerboard on Tigerboard. I have done so because I either felt that the posts were insightful and worth sharing with my tiger brethern, or that they were funny i.e. the Mizzou look a like thread.

I don't believe in any of my posts either on Tigerboard or here, I have made outlandish claims about this game, or said unnecessarily negative things about Nebraska. Like most realistic Mizzou fans, I think and hope we will win this game, but if we should lose, I will be back here to say congrats to all of you on your win.

From what I have experienced, Truman has been a knowledgeable and courteous Tiger fan. I thought that was an oxymoron. After the last 2 trips to Columbia, I am not sure there is much room for smack. Let's let Saturday play out.

 
Me personally, I've enjoyed have Truman on the board. He's offered up some good insight on NU as well as MU. He seems objective most of the time with a little Mizzou bias dashed in but that's to be expected of a fan just as I would expect a NU fan to be objective with a dash of NU bias thrown in.

I was originally going to post this thread over on Tigerboard to brag about my new found notariety on huskerboard, but now that you are all saying such nice things about me I am afraid if I post this on Tigerboard I will be kicked off for being to nice to you huskers! ;)

I too am a Mizzou fan and Truman has been very civil. If the TigerBoard bothers you, please do not visit the site. I do not visit TigerBoard and I was one of the founding posters over there.

Should be a great game on Saturday. I feel both teams are evenly matched talent wise.

No this is not the NU of the 90's. Yes you do have a history and tradition that I envy...but. that tradition and history will not be playing on Faurot Field Saturday night. The Hukers and Tigers of 2007 will be playing.

I feel Keller and Daniel...yes it is Daniel with no "s" on the end will be the two that determine this game.

I would also add that MU does have reason to feel good about this game. We have beaten Illinois on a neutral field. Illinois is co-leading the Big 10 with a victory over Penn state. We went on the road in the SEC and won. Yes, I am confident we can win this game. Why, because we have improved as a program and are at the level we do expect to win Saturday. If this bothers you, then I say look inside yourself.

Why can you expect to win, and we can NOT expect to win???

I pray for an injury free game and a good experience for all fans.
