I don't post in here about on topic stuff, but, the planet doesn't have just 9 years left, it just doesn't.  You know it, I know it, Kerry knows it.

Could you imagine actually believing there was only 9 years left to live...and yet you were still posting here, and digging up links and trying to prove other people wrong...instead of living your life to the fullest, when you literally know you have 9 years left.

Except that's not what he said. And Archy pretending that he did is some monumentally stupid stuff.

My mistake, I thought you could read and understand that Archy is being disingenuous on purpose. But if you want to join him in pretending that it's saying something it's not, you do you.
I agree, it is your mistake.

And you are right, I can't reed.

But I can listen...and that is what JK said.  12 yeers ago smert guys told us we have 12 years until the climate freaked the f#&% out and we basically were going to die...it has ben 3 years and so we have 9 years left.

Also, you can't be disingenuous on accident, that is just called lying.

I think most scientists have been talking about potentially disastrous scenarios that will unfold in the next 50-100 years.  When they talk about 10 years, that's the rough estimate for reversing the current trends, as there's a tipping point where sea levels won't go back down, and the collective release of carbon gets exponential, coral reefs won't be able to repair themselves, etc.  So that's where the urgency comes from. No one is saying life on Earth ends in 9 years --- just that we can't keeping the can down the road.  Another fairly large group of scientist believes we already passed the tipping point.

I 100% love everything in this post.

Thank you!  You did more than you know.

Also, thank you for posting without insulting anyone.  That is nice.
