** 2021 Opponent Previews : Iowa (Game 12) **

I think that was the worst half of football I have seen us play in years.  Thankfully the defense came out out mad after halftime and shut them down hard.

It's very true- the BIG has its favorites and the officiating is just awful. But it's up to NU to grab the respect it wants instead of being the nice kid on the block who is easily bullied. Every league has a team or two that get the short end of the stick when it comes time to distribute short sticks to SOMEONE. We are that someone.

But, it doesn't need to be that way.

It's simple to put in a rotation.  The problem is, they then try to work in all these external ideas about what is the most intriguing match ups...etc.  That's where things get screwed up.

I agree with you- but that didn't happen under Delaney/Alvarez and it's not going to happen under Warren/Alvarez either  :D   The problem is when they set these things up so far in advance and things change. You have an Indiana, Minnesota, MSU or even a Shiano Rutgers team that starts to shine.

And, that's what I think should be eliminated from consideration.  If they simply set in place a rotation, it eliminates the need for that process.  Everyone would be playing each team every so often and the same frequency.

Iowa's permanent crossover has been Penn State so it isn't like we got a nobody - but yeah you got the short stick with OSU.  Now for the next rotation we got a nobody with Rutgers :(

TO margin is the most important Stat in football- year after year. it is what it is.
