But, it doesn't need to be that way. It's very true- the BIG has its favorites and the officiating is just awful. But it's up to NU to grab the respect it wants instead of being the nice kid on the block who is easily bullied. Every league has a team or two that get the short end of the stick when it comes time to distribute short sticks to SOMEONE. We are that someone.
I agree with you- but that didn't happen under Delaney/Alvarez and it's not going to happen under Warren/Alvarez eitherBut, it doesn't need to be that way.
It's simple to put in a rotation. The problem is, they then try to work in all these external ideas about what is the most intriguing match ups...etc. That's where things get screwed up.
And, that's what I think should be eliminated from consideration. If they simply set in place a rotation, it eliminates the need for that process. Everyone would be playing each team every so often and the same frequency. The problem is when they set these things up so far in advance and things change. You have an Indiana, Minnesota, MSU or even a Shiano Rutgers team that starts to shine.
I'd say you guys are the top team in the B1G right now. I'd even pick you in a matchup w/ OSU. Your D is absolutely stellar.Iowa's permanent crossover has been Penn State so it isn't like we got a nobody - but yeah you got the short stick with OSU. Now for the next rotation we got a nobody with Rutgers![]()
This is such an odd year. An unranked team with 3 losses has a better chance of beating them than an undefeated team ranked #4.ESPN's FPI currently gives us a 46.4% chance of beating Iowa. #4 Penn State gets a 40.8% chance...

I actually really hope they keep winning. That we we can crush their hopes when we kick their a$$ in November.
