The P&R Plague Thread (Covid-19)

Well unless the reason for being skeptical is stupid. For example, I know a guy who is skeptical that the holocaust actually even happened. That would be considered stupid skepticism.
Being skeptical in a science based or medical based discussion is many times a good thing until the discussion is proven out.

P.S. I wouldn’t hang out with that guy

And who is saying the CDC, Fauci, and the epidemiology community WASN'T being skeptical?  They spent most of their time cautioning against simplistic pronouncements and cures, and at worst moved the prevailing wisdom to match the best available evidence. That's what you're supposed to do. If you're one of the stupid f#&%ing morons who thinks scientists are in the thrall of a liberal Dem agenda, check out every other country on Earth that dealt with the global pandemic.

Seriously. Boycott insulin, Viagra, polypro, and the internet itself. They were brought to you by the same people grinding through the trial and error, peer-reviewed process to bring you something that could make life better. If you decided to flip that switch when the conservative messengers declared belief in science a litmus test, you don't deserve the good s#!t.
