Michigan and Harbaugh under NCAA investigation

Accusations,,,,  possible text messages... covid-19

I know it hurts to lose 3 years straight to Michigan and not winning a Conference Championship......   or being the face of the league anymore, but  Ohio State, with the Big Ten, and the NCAA need to let it go.

I mean, college players are getting paid to play these days.  Some are making millions by going to your school.  And there's a playoff system that is changing from 4 teams to 12 teams to something else in the future.

Things are so different than they ever where.  Just let all of this crying go already and shut up.  Move forward.  It's exhausting.
It is legal to have as many paid coaches as you want on the field these days. The NOA Michigan received recently for the 2020 COVID violations was partially for analysts coaching kids. It took 4 years to accuse them of something, that is now legal.

The NCAA is ticked about the 2020 incidents because Harbaugh would not cooperate with the investigation at in 2023. Had he not been stubborn he probably would not have had a 3 game suspension at the beginning of last season.

Thamel has some sort of grudge, too. Someone is leaking info to him from the NCAA, and he keeps using words like "possibly" and "likely." His info is "old." Then rivals calls Thamel out on it. Thamel's claims could certainly hurt recruiting in the short term.

Yep.  It's always everyone else trying to pick on little old Michigan.

Yep.  It's only when it involves Michigan that things get leaked early.  They really have it in for them.
Ha. Now Thamel and Finebaum says it's overblown.

“This is all a continuation of a long, drawn out story that in many people’s eyes, probably other than the NCAA, is over,” Finebaum said.

“So I would think Sherrone Moore faces a short suspension,” Thamel said. “If you look at the history of this stuff at the maximum to go through sort of the matrix of what could happen to Michigan in this ... I don’t think they’re going to have any type of postseason ban. I don’t think, looking at history and looking at past precedent in this, there’s going to be any type of retroactive anything to what they’ve already won and accomplished. Their accomplishments are safe. There’s no players eligibility at stake in this."

Thamel went from post season ban to short suspension for Moore pretty quickly.

Whatever replaces the NCAA needs to have the power to investigate and enforce the rules. Otherwise the game is going to continue to be a cesspool of cheating like Michigan did.
Correct with first sentence.   Your second sentence comes off a little thick.

Cesspool?  Cesspool...

I had to look that up.  That's very harsh words for a description., yeesh.

Cesspool:  an underground reservoir for liquid waste (such as household sewage) 2. : a filthy, evil, or corrupt place or state. a cesspool of corruption.

Here is one of the biggest media guys in Sports Media on TV addressing this Michigan scandal.

Similar to what I hinted about with my thoughts on these stories and allegations.  Coward basically said the same thing one day later (today).  But he has a larger audience.

Starts at 5:40 mark.

Listen with an open mind and you might put things into perspective.

I think you misunderstood. I am in agreement.

You don't think everyone is stealing signs? Or at least most...the ones who are not naive. Stealing signs is legal. Advanced scouting is not legal. And when has the NCAA been anywhere near consistent.
