** 2024 Opponent Preview : Colorado (Game 2) **

Sanders is completely melting down, and the season hasn't even started yet.

It was very strange for that reason. We've seen some pretty epic blowups by coaches over time, but I don't recall any in this sort of context. Super casual sitdown affair with your typical laid back preseason questions and yet he was almost begging for a fight. It reaked of insecurity, and at the very least, was very uncalled for.

This thing is imploding folks.  I’m sticking with my prediction.  He will be gone at the end of the season.  He will be fired “with cause” but that’ll just be the story so both parties can go their separate ways.

I don’t think it’s too far out there that it happens during the season.  He will take his boys and Hunter as part of the “show”.  He’d do something like say he’s concerned about them staying at Colorado.  Some fake narrative.

Deion went after Sean Keeler, hard. It was uncomfortable. I understand that dealing with the media can be difficult at times, but dude, it's part of the job. He's got to be better about handling this kind of stuff. Otherwise, reporters are going to start coming after him more aggressively, just to see another meltdown. I'm here for it though; what a d-bag.

Ha, that Denver Post article shreds him into a fine powder. lol. And look at this quote:

This was another side of Deion we’d heard about but hadn’t really seen yet: Biting one of the hands that actually pays him.

This was Desperate Deion, a man who stared into the future and saw 5-7 staring back.

This was Nebraska Deion. As in, Deion from the Nebraska postgame news conference in Lincoln. After the Buffs drop another heartbreaker.
Yes, please.

Imagine peaking after the first game of your first season at your new gig. Yikes.

Not condoning Sanders, but the writer was OK with Deion acting this way year one but not year two. Stripes don’t change and silly of media to expect Sanders to be anything other than what he has demonstrated since..forever.

The insinuation of racism is eye-rolling, it suggests the media and himself as being racist. Bo Pelini and many other coaches before Deion have taken the same approach to media, but lacked the HOF pedigree and vibrato of Deion.
