By no means am I trying to be overly critical. The guy has been pretty much everything as advertised. And, he should only get better.
One thing I am surprised at is that he really hasn't hit on really deep balls. I guess he had the one against CU but that was more of a fluke play where he chucked it up to an open spot and the WR went and got it. He's had some where I would say they are mid range. But, it seems like he's either over throwing the WR or the WR isn't going all out on the route.
At some point, some of those are going to hit.

I know he's hit a few big plays. And, like I said, he's doing fantastic.Yeah, I guess it depends on where the "deep" line is drawn.
UTEP:
He hit Neyor 20 yards down the sideline for a TD. Ball probably traveled 30+ yards in the air.
He threw a beautiful ball to Banks in the right corner of the end zone. Roughly 25 yards downfield, probably 35-ish in the air.
Colorado:
Hit hit Lloyd on the deep post to the one yard line. 36 yards downfield, ball was at least 45 in the air, probably 50. It was underthrown by a ways but he was throwing all the way back across the field and across his body.
UTEP:
Hit Lloyd down the sideline, 36 yards downfield, 40+ in the air.
So I would agree that we haven't seen hit really hit a go route in stride for a huge play. But we haven't tried a lot of those either. But he's hit a few big plays already.

I'm a little confused on your stats on these passes. You say against UTEP, he hit 36 yards downfield, but the ball was 40+ in the air.
36 yards in parallel to the sideline. 40+ is from the middle of the field to the sideline, plus being thrown behind the LOS. Different sides of the same triangle.
