And year 2 was supposed to be the year when Rhule does all of his magic as he did at Temple and Baylor.  We were all primed for it by the media and the coaches. Rhule is proving that talk doesn’t win games and that he is SF 2.0

Well, at least we are guaranteed not to finish last even if Purdue wins out. We have the tie breaker in the head-to-head matchup against them.

And with all the seniors leaving after this year we have at least a couple of rebuilding years to look forward to. Yay!

If money were not a factor, I wonder how many Husker fans would want to move on from Rhule given how quickly a guy like Cignetti has had success in his first year.

I'd wait a year or two before proclaiming Cignetti the poster child. Yes the man can coach, but it was an extremely rare convergence of portal players and veteran coaches melding into this year's phenomenon. If he backs it up in the next 2-3 years, that will be remarkable.

Very good chance 5W-7L, again.  Eight consecutive years NO bowl 😡.  Loaded with 4-Stars and one 5-Star yet losing records

He's been fired a couple of times.  That was apparently what impressed our hiring committee.
