I am however very impressed with @CyHawk for knowing offhand so much Nebraska football history. Dude is an absolute wealth of information on everything the program has done the past 40 years it seems. Hell, I bet some of our most ardent graybeards can’t recall the numbers, results, anecdotes, etc that this guy can rattle off without hesitation.  Some might call him a troll. I call him a great fan of all things Huskers.

I could not agree more. through odd circumstances, Iowa has been ranked WAY higher than what was deserved for many years. They have been fortunate to be the opposite of Nebraska in that they have figured out how to win the close games. Not pretty, but they win. 

Frankly, other than the criminal element, I enjoyed watching the huskers offense back in the day. They pounded the option better than anybody. I still believe that it would work today.

Dont worry, after the game I will slip away for another year. Somebody has to stir up the chit! I still say Nebraska by 10.

This is so true.

I have gone to other teams sites before and never posted.  If I have posted it was to ask about tailgating and bars if we were headed there for a game.  

But if you are headed to another teams site to talk about how great your team is, that is lame.

I must have missed that part. I am betting Huskers by 10.

For this rivalry to exist there needs to at least be a bit of trash talk both ways. It is all perspective, except of course to the facts of lawlessness in Lincoln during the run in the 80's and 90's, as that is well documented. Remove this lawlessness and the wins and championships seem to go away.

You are right, you did miss that part.  

Have fun being stuck with a coach that has been extorting your school and fan base for years with no concern of winning and only a concern of lining his own pockets.

I changed my mind on tonight's outcome. Huskers will be down by 4 (21-17) with 3 minutes left in the game and will be driving on offense. Dillion Ravioli will attempt to be a hero and throw an interception. Iowa's boring offense will run out the clock.

Nebraska 42 - 10

 
I thought that Nebraska would start stronger with fewer mental mistakes. Defense is doing well, but remember that the Iowa QB was on Scout Team 4 weeks ago. Ravioli is not exactly playing great.

I don’t wanna hear about how s#!tty your QB is when we brought out HH last year. And I’m not saying HH is s#!tty but he’s not truly a QB.
