Who's Leaving? 2024/25 version

Backup QBs transfer (and sometimes even starting QBs transfer).  It sucks, but that's the name of the game.

It's also hard as hell to get a transfer QB who knows he's going to be the backup to come in.  Does Casey Thompson have an 8th year available?

Maybe Jacob Zeno wants to play for Rhule again? Would only be his 7th year. Here's Garrett McGuire running a play at the end of a blowout, Zeno would finish this drive off with a 1-yard TD run.

Williams has already expressed the significance of his position coach to his personal life.  I’d say him and his coach are both going.

Guys may "want to go with coaches", but the other school has to "accept" them.  FSU is cutting their roster too.  FSU is probably not taking 10 guys from a 6-6 Nebraska team...especially non-starters..... not saying these two specifically, but on 590 Hail Varsity yesterday, they talked about the rumor that White was going after Evan Cooper as the DB coach.  They speculated that a lot of our young DBs loved Coop and would possibly want to join him again.  FSU has talent and a pretty good recruiting class.  I would expect a "few" of our guys to end up their, but not everyone who keeps getting mentioned about "following" coaches.

With that said, I hope both those guys stay as we desperately need them next year !!  I hope their absence from practice was completely non-related.

I agree with everything you said.  It’s going to very difficult for a lot of these kids across all of football to find homes.

I hope he stays.  I think he’s just going to keep getting better.

 
The hits keep coming. This is why we need to target a current successful DC who can bring players with. Seems the only way to have instant success, and that’s what Rhule needs to survive. 

 
Thankfully all the four game redshirt freshman are eligible to play in the bowl game. We are going to need the depth.
