Agreed. I have heard Rhule & White talk openly going back to last season about the need to get home with 4 and play coverage behind. That may be interpreted as more conservative by some. But, when I think aggressive, I think along the lines of McBride. Flood the box & take away the run, make opponents one dimensional, get after the QB & compete in the secondary.
I know most probably think NU's DB's need to be protected, but I've watched a lot of Pitt games this year because of a former player, and Lynum has been really solid in an aggressive defense. Makes me wonder if NU's DB's are doing too much thinking & just need to be freed to compete.
