This is what I was thinking. Was basing on Dana’s comments after he took over.Under Satterfield!

Under Satterfield!
Which would lead me to believe it is a player issue, not OC issue. The snap distribution changed very little under Holgorsen.
Its bc we had nobody that was better. That was our only option. With the wr's coming in they certainly can catch just don't know if they were asked to block in their offenses as much as we will use them for. That didn’t seem to matter for Banks or Neyor. Catching the ball didn’t seem to matter either When it came to playing time![]()
Lloyd has track speed but it didn't seem like he has much athleticism
This is the dumbest thing I've read in a LONG timeLloyd has track speed but it didn't seem like he has much athleticism bc all we saw was him running straight down the field on his routes. Good luck to him to where ever he goes.
I would say rather he had amazing straight line speed but everything else that’s needed for the position he was below average.Lloyd has track speed but it didn't seem like he has much athleticism bc all we saw was him running straight down the field on his routes. But the blocking was by the receivers changed. The snap distribution changed very little under Holgorsen.
I never once saw Lloyd on the field and thought he had superb athleticism or game changing ability even similar to Barney. Stud athletes are impossible to keep off the field. But sure, since people like you read that he was a good trackster, this is the dumbest thing you’ve read. This is the dumbest thing I've read in a LONG time
You are comparing apples and oranges IMO. To say Lloyd doesn’t seem to have much athleticism when he is a world class triple jumper, which quite frankly takes a TON of athleticism to be and doesn’t just involve sprint speed, is plain silly. That is what everyone is laughing at, that doesn’t mean that he translates well to being a good football player. Lloyd has a TON of athleticism no doubt, just wasn’t better than the other WR’s on the team when it came to playing football.I never once saw Lloyd on the field and thought he had superb athleticism or game changing ability even similar to Barney. It’s too bad he isn’t as athletic in pads than he is on the track. I think that’s what the original post was alluding to.You are comparing apples and oranges IMO. 100% mattered for neyor...he missed or wiff'd plentyThat didn’t seem to matter for Banks or Neyor. Catching the ball didn’t seem to matter either When it came to playing time![]()

As I mentioned in another post, I would almost guarantee it had absolutely nothing to do with athleticism and everything to do about reading/recognizing coverage and run the correct route accordingly. If one guy isn’t on the same page, the entire concept and play is ruined. Teams can’t take that risk. You are comparing apples and oranges IMO.
