Or maybe it was just the wrong fit at Alabama.  We all know they had to have plenty of drama with Saban leaving.  I'll trust our coaches to choose who is a good fit for us or not.

I dont understand the rating, other than his potential.  He was good for runs & very bad in pass protection.  We just dont need the off field distractions.  Hope I'm wrong!

That is awesome to get the #4 OT in the portal when you need an OT.

The guy has played a large number of snaps at a high level program. Why wouldn't we want that? His stats? They are pretty similar to the guy he is replacing and although we bag on that guy he started a lot of games and played a lot of snaps. It is obvious the staff isn't sold on the young RT behind him.

Also, as far as character issues, sometimes people need a fresh start. The STI thing is super lame. The guy in line behind Benhart has a history of stomping on opponents while they were on the ground during HS. Is that good? Bad? Indifferent?
