Trump’s Accomplishments…at levels never seen before (2025 version)

Musk's access to the payment system is raising concerns as it comes just days after the White House ordered a broad freeze on federal grants and loans, causing confusion within federal assistance programs, at nonprofits and among Americans receiving government aid. That same day, state Medicaid programs said they were locked out of the Department of Health and Human Services system used to track and disburse money.

US government workers are describing an atmosphere of “fear” and “madness” as they grapple with a barrage of executive orders issued by Donald Trump and threats to their jobs from the office of personnel management, the agency tasked with managing the federal civil service, which has been taken over by the billionaire Elon Musk.

The White House blamed an "outage" for locking out a wide range of organizations and agencies on Tuesday from the online systems responsible for drawing down federal health dollars.

Multiple state Medicaid programs reported late Tuesday they have been able to resume accessing their payment systems after the nationwide lockout.

"We have confirmed no payments have been affected — they are still being processed and sent. We expect the portal will be back online shortly," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a post on X.

Yes, after the backlash hit them they opened them back up hours later a few days ago. I dont believe anything the white house says anymore, its full of liars.

But nonetheless, federal workers were locked out of their computers and banned from the buildings, that is not under dispute. And today, they were in CMS doing god knows what to the system. Just like they are “updating” the FAA comms system.

Inspector generals were let go also without the 30 day notice required by law. So there are no watchdogs for whatever they are doing/planning.

Nobody is freaking out about deporatations. They are just going after the ones that are in the system, showing up for their court hearings and trying to go through the process the right way, so not the criminals he promised. What Im wondering is why we need to send them to prison camps in El Salvador and Guantanomo Bay when the countries like Mexico, Colombia, etc are willing to take them back, just asking that they are not shackled and treated with respect. 80 years ago, we called these camps, concentration camps. Now we just change the name to detention camp and everyone is fine with it. A “detention camp” that can hold up to 30,000 people at a time and the most brutal prisons in El Salvador for people that only crime is trying to get asylum.
Please don't compare ANYTHING that the US is doing to f#&%ing concentration camps.

They are concentration camps and will be used as such. Sorry to upset you. I know its crazy to think evil people still exist after WWII, just like they have throughout the entire history of the world and will continue to well after we are dead.

If you were sorry that you upset me, you would not do it.

Good thing is, it did not upset me.  Just seems like a super stretchy comparison.

The difference to me regarding Bidens method vs Trumps is one instills fear, anger, and meanness while the other gets the same results without the insecurity of minorities and the racist dips#!ts postings as ICE to get those “illegals” out of here.

The ends rarely justifies the means.

Just noting the irony murdered here by lecturing the board on the efficiencies of the private sector while spending every working moment, of every working week, posting right-wing propaganda from a private sector job.

The other irony to note is that I don't recall any MAGA froth posted here before about a week ago when Elon took his pound of flesh out our national security because his feels are still hurt over the apartheid issue.  I mean it's like the right-wing memo got sent out yet again and regurgitated here.

Marco Rubio was actually encouraging the Biden administration to prioritize funding for USAID until he found his higher calling as a Trump sycophant.  Now suddenly USAID bad.   If lil Marco was so misinformed on foreign policy why was he selected to be Secretary of State?

"But just three years ago, Rubio argued the exact opposite, urging the Biden administration in a 2022 letter to prioritize USAID’s funding as a key tool to “counter the Chinese Communist Party’s expanding global influence.”

A longtime defender of US foreign aid, Rubio pushed back against criticism of the agency in repeated comments uncovered by CNN — defending aid as both vital and a small part of America’s overall fiscal budget.

“We don’t have to give foreign aid. We do so because it furthers our national interest. That’s why we give foreign aid. Now obviously there’s a component to foreign aid that’s humanitarian in scope, and that’s important too,” he said in February 2013.

“Foreign aid as a part of our overall budget is less than 1% of the total amount the US Government spends,” Rubio said in one 2017 speech on the Senate floor. “I promise you it is going to be a lot harder to recruit someone to anti-Americanism and anti-American terrorism if the United States of America is the reason one is even alive today.”

“Anybody who tells you that we can slash foreign aid and that will bring us to balance is lying to you. Foreign aid is less than one percent of our budget. It’s just not true,” he added in August 2019, while speaking to the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches."

I checked again, just quickly though, this morning.  It appears that 6.5 million people have not been starved and marched to death, not yet anyway.
