That's true.
It would certainly take a lot of honor and nobility to tell the public that the man poised to defeat Donald Trump was no longer equipped for the office, launching a risky succession scenario involving the vice-president they were supposedly grooming for the job but who, in fact, they had hid and ignored for most of her term. So yeah, Democrat leadership was more engaged in panic and spin than honor and nobility. It took the bad poll numbers to convince Joe to step aside. And my guess is that he still wasn't convinced. It was a total strong-arming.
Like I said, it's a legitimate story. But I thought we were taking this valuable learning opportunity and applying it to the man currently in office. The guy making hugely consequential decisions like a man with profound cognitive issues. The guy making blathering ALL CAP attacks on mothers, Europeans, and Bruce Springsteen. The guy erasing trillions of dollars on petulant declarations . People in his own party have been warning about this from the beginning, but Party stalwarts and conservative media have been more than willing to paper over his craziness as long as he's getting votes, including at least two of yours. How much different is this, Arch?
Nah not yet for me. You see I tried for a few years here to get people to acknowledge the story while the person previously in office was still in office. Really didn’t have any takers but one or two people others ran off of here. I’m perfectly fine harping on this for another year or two.
Kinda like the Russia/Trump campaign collusion false stories. People ran with that for quite a long time (years) until the main stream non Fox reporting finally came out and acknowledged reality.
It seems like you and others love to want to turn the page quite quickly when stories aren’t so great for you and your side of the aisle.
However, since I like you so much, how about we agree that Republicans should kick Trump to the curb asap. That puts JD in charge and he can make RD his VP. Seems it’s a bipartisan solution between you and I while we still discuss the Non-Fox media’s disgusting culpability extreme Democrat bias when reporting on stories such as the above

But surely you understand the converse: how much time should we spend parsing the Biden decline and cover-up when the current 80 year old President appears to be off-his-rocker and an entire ecosystem of conservative media and Republican leadership is trying to distract us in every possible direction. Like switching every conversation to Biden while Trump makes a non-stop string of baffling filterless speeches. What's the baseline for removing a President or hiding a story?
btw, there's a lot more to the conservative media than Fox, and their blatant dishonesty is pretty staggering.
And yes, most of us have figured out that kicking Trump to the curb just means President J.D. Vance, the bearded Kamala Harris.
Why can't you just admit your belief system is awful and apologize for the grifters you've put into office?
Wait, you mean like what we just went through for four years in reverse and you didn’t seem to have much of a problem in letting it go on when guys like myself tried telling you an 80 yr old was off his rocker.
but as I said before, let’s be bi partisan and boot Trump. While we do it, we can be bipartisan in admitting media orgs like the saintly Atlantic are partisan echo chambers of the Democrat party.

Well, more than leans left. Actively carries the Democrat water along with CNN, WAPO, NYT, and yes then we can boot Trump gleefully!

I hate to insinuate myself into the middle of this discussion but the last four years (Biden) were nothing like what we are in store for with Trump. Cognitive decline is the only similarity. The difference is more like a stoned but mellow Biden and an angry wife beating drunk Trump. So not really the same at all.

Having a weekend a Bernie’s president when people voted someone specific into office to make decisions is kinda a big deal. Otherwise why even elect an exact person. The electorate basically ended up electing Democrats close to Joe Biden for 2020 election and not Joe Biden himself as President.

I won’t disagree with that. Weekend at Bernies is a pretty good analogy. But Trump’s cognitive problems are even more pronounced than Joe’s and Don doesn’t have functional adults covering for him or making rational decisions because they’re almost as deranged as he is. Given those two scenarios, I know which one is magnitudes less dangerous for the country.
