I remember Obama deporting more illegal aliens than Trump ever did without breaking the law and plunging the country into full fledged chaos if not civil war.

Some here have been warning for years about what would happen if Trump returned to power.   Those warnings were met with scoffs and ridicule from the fascist curious.   Now that an authoritarian takeover of our country is happening right be for our eyes we're seeing the cheering and gaslightibg of the situation.  We all knew that would happen.  Because they really weren't fascist curious any more than their Dear Leader, Kash Patel, Steve Bannon, or Stephen Miller are.  All the worst of humanity.

While all true it doesn't make fire-starting the right option. 

With that said, it is amazing that those fires are being put out by cops and not firemen.

A bunch of people standing in a parking lot watching a dumpster fire. Forget the national guard, probably need to send special forces to that crisis. That is literally Main Street most weekends when the bars close. 
 

In all seriousness it seems like Trump is trying to poor fuel on these protests so it can take some spotlight off of the fact his doge bro now hates him, Ukraine/ Russia is getting turned up, economic downturn looming, and maybe not so big beautiful bill drama. Make democrats and lefties the bad guys again and maga can rest easy again knowing they are saving the world. I hope protests are peaceful and that keeps any conflicts with authorities to a minimum.

LA is not having Trump’s bulls#!t. His goons can f#&% off. I do feel bad for the National Guard folks who probably want no part in dealing with his martial law fantasy.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not suggesting the ICE protests are anywhere near the danger or excess of insurrectionists storming of the Capitol to overturn a legal election. I'm just saying that when Republican declared J6 "legitimate political discourse" it set the bar for others to follow.

If you feel differently, I'd love to hear your reasoning.
