It's fun to speculate, but let's not lose our minds. Carl isn't going anywhere.

I thought it was pretty funny when I finally went and bought a "CARLFENSE" t-shirt this weekend and the dude at the register asked me if I heard the rumor.

you know what. i don't care if carl pelini is an effing pimp, the dude knows how to coach the D.

if he's doing boosters wives good for him! with the victories comes the spoiles!

as you can see i take a barbarians mentality on these things.

These rumors are bull. he isn't going anywhere. at least until he gets a good HC offer.

 
Rumor has it he learned from the master, Solich, who was also coincidentally Craig Bohl's master. Apparently, Solich pulls his D coaches aside and tells them his secrets for seducing women anywhere from college co-eds to booster donors wives!

There's probably quite a bit of truth to that. Just look at Frank. The guy practically oozes "Lady Killer." Rowr.

 
I'm not trying to be mean here or anything, but I'd say Solich at least oozes as much and I lean towards more lady killer than Craig Bohl or Carl Pelini. The only thing they have on him is being younger with probably more stamina.

This rumor needs to be crushed right now!! We all know it's not true that he isn't leaving. Of course he's leaving, he did the deed and now he must pay and he got fired. That's the way it is. This whole rumor thing about him not going anywhere has to stop.

HOLY sh#t!! are you serious, do you have a link for this story?, cuz i hadnt heard yet. Boy this is really gonna hurt next year's D.

 
this is why we need a longer season... too much down time and bored fans hungry for more will perpetuate rumors like this.

How do we make the season longer? I say we should play a game every other week starting in June (CWS would pitch a fit I am sure) and ending mid December. We should be able to play every team in the Big 12 and still have the nonconf games. Then move the Spring game to the end of March and that should keep the focus on what we really care about... WINNING!

 
Unfortunately the rumor is true. It was a booster's wife. TO wanted to fire him, but Bo said if he goes, then I go. The chancellor got involved and nothing of this sort is listed in his code of conduct agreement. He will not be fired. From what I understand, TO was not too happy being one-up'd.
