He's also been known to let folks sow their royal oats. Just an all around helluva guy, and a real man's man. Look at that f'ing lion on his shoulder. Majestic. May I die a thousand deaths before I utter one disparaging word about King Jaffe Joffer.
Eddard Stark, referred to fondly as Ned by friends and admirers, was the Lord of Winterfell and the Warden of the North. He also became the Hand of the King to Robert Baratheon and moved to King's Landing to serve the realm. Sadly, this decision would cost him his life. Goddamn Lannisters. Except for Tyrion. Gotta love the Imp.
(It's from Game of Thrones. I'm only like a halfway legitimate fan, because I haven't read the series yet. But I started watching it on HBO before I'd ever heard of it, so I'm going to wait until the show runs its course before I read the A Song of Ice and Fire series. It is maybe the best series on HBO ever. That's bold, considering The Wire, but it's right up there in my opinion. You should definitely check it out if you have the time and inclination. My wife and I are on full Nerd Alert. We talk about this show all the time. It's getting excessive, but like I said, we're nerds.)
