    Any input where to find 4 tickets for this weekend? So many scammers these days and Seat Geek makes you spend an extra $37/ticket for "fees"

    Unfortunately, if you don't know someone personally with tickets, sites like seatgeek are your best bet to make sure you're not being scammed.

    Honestly, looking at the prices on there, even with the fees, it's not bad.  There's some for $16 in the corner or roughly $30 at the 30-35 yard line.

    Volleyball...on the other hand......

    2023 @ Colorado ....is this game for sure Sep 9th next year? I see a few conflicting schedules out there.

    That's what it says on Huskers.com, so I would think that's still the story.

    Colorado has them playing TCU on the 2nd, us on the 9th and Colorado State on the 16th.

    If you're on a super high-res phone and trying to save an un-resized screenshot, those can be pretty huge.

    It happened towards the end of a high school BB game I was playing in.  At the time the score was pretty close and we ended up losing.  But by more than a couple points, so it's not like it cost us the game I guess.  btw, The guy had been drinking.  A lot apparently.  lol

    I spend a lot more time on my phone than I want. I have huge monitors on my PC. I hate browsing the web on my phone's tiny screen. My tablet is better, but still too small.

    Also, mobile versions of websites are uglier than desktop versions. And I hate the mobile-friendly fonts and big kludgy ganky layouts they use.

    If your group enjoys cigars, you gotta check out Havana Garage, really cool spot and they have a sneaky good patio in the back.

    Mister Toads probably has the best patio downtown if that's your bag.

    Upstream is a decent space and they have pool tables.

    My favorite place downtown is La Buvette, it's a smaller space with seating for maybe 30 people inside but they have a decent patio out front and it's an awesome spot for wine.  Service can be a bit prickly but that's just the way it is there.

    @HuskerInLostWagesAnd his sister committed to UGA after the incident, which by the way, was not experienced by Fields- he only heard that it had happened. That’s why I say kids now have a template- just claim you heard a racial slur was spoken somewhere on campus, by someone, at sometime

    No one knows what the reason was for the transfer.  The school also granted him an uncontested release. To make assumptions and treat them as facts IMO is irresponsible.

    What WR's in the B1G are better, or really even close? Pretty sure we didn't play against any. That's some BS right there

    I don't think anyone had a better receiver combo in the B1G than us. We may have been pretty high nationally as well. I can only remember Stan dropping one or two passes he should have caught this year.

    The coaches poll picked Rondale Moore (Purdue) and Parris Campbell (OSU) while the media poll chose Moore as well and also Tyler Johnson of Minnesota. Neither Moore nor Campbell were the prime receivers when we played them but Johnson burned us for 184 yards on 11 catches.

    That's more an indictment of Michigan's offense against our (surprisingly good with lots of potential to be great at season's end) defense than it is anything else IMO. Their O-Line is trash and play-calling has been suspect for years, and their skill players rattle easily. 

    If we punch them in the mouth (metaphorically, of course) and put them on their heels, we have a puncher's chance of winning this.

    I'm guessing 2AM playing would move the line more than 1 or 1.5 points. If not. I really don't know what I'm (or Vegas is) doing.

    The only reason the lines is dropping is because more people bet Nebraska than Michigan that’s how Vegas works. Smart bettors would pay attention to what the line does.

    There are blueprints for a south stadium "reconstruction", but I am not sure when/if it will ever happen.  I posted about it in some thread a couple years ago.

    I think - if there was going to be a major renovation - that it would be something along those lines.  I just don't see how they would ever be able to handle the logistics of something like that.  They'd basically have to completely demolish the existing South Stadium and start over.  And I don't think that's possible in nine months from December through August.  So you'd be without the entire South Stadium for (at least) one football season.  Which is going to make a lot of people very upset.  And there would be fewer seats - though more high-dollar seats - but I'm not sure that it would be worth that much money and time to do.
