Are you talking about the '98 game? Because the video is of the '98 game. It did not snow. It did snow in 2000 towards the end. Our 2000 defense was average at best, and was the scapegoat in that one. '98? Kansas St. was the better team, and Nebraska played above our capabilities that day. The facemask? I dont put as much stock into that as most do. Even with the 15 yards, we still have to drive the length of the field with just minutes left. So many guarantee a win if that is called.
HOWEVER, what really, really aggrevates me is the glorification of that play. I'm sure numerous fans of theirs are only dissappointed in the fact that Crouch was not seriously injured, esp. after their Brook Berringer statements that appear on their message boards to this day. That was a big time for Kansas St. and they had a right to be proud. But in the long run, what did they accomplish? It took their best team ever to barely beat our worst team in that past 30 years.
